Well Kwok, Fyron, and I have launched our Space Empires Network. Membership is open to any site that is regularly maintained and its creator is an active community member.

Well I bugged Shrapnel and got them to setup the Space Empires V forums. So everyone make sure all SEV threads are put there from now on.

Well the moment we have all been waitng for. Space Empires 5 screenshots and soon beta test announcements. The game is even better than I expected and I have some high expectations. It seems the biggest surprises are bump mapping and real ground combat. I am not sure there has been a happier day in my life. The only way to make today better would be making it into the Beta Test. :D

Well I got in :) Guess this isn't happy news for most of you since there were 1000 applicants and only 50 made it. There seem to be some returning names that haven't been seen for awhile at least not under reconizeable names including Hadrian. Also of course all of the major community members that we're expected to make it are there: Fyron, Captian Kwok, Suicide Junkie, Atrocities, DeadZoneMDx, etc...

The People's Mod for Starfury looks like it might be moving again sometime soon. Most likely it looks like its new home will be at SpaceEmpires.net. Fyron has offered his site as the new home.
